“Fruitbowl” / Lighting and Shading

This was my first texturing project where I was given the base models of the fruits and had to create the lighting and textures for everything. Each texture for the fruits was a challenge because it was my first time using Maya and Substance Painter.
My goal was to make my textures look painterly yet realistic. The window shadow was created with a plane in that shape plus an area light in warm tones, while the rest of the lighting includes a sky dome light to provide cool ambient light and a final area light to achieve more detailed shadows and reflections on the fruits.
